Abstract

The research paper explores the relationship between organizational culture and employee retention in startup companies. Startups, often characterized by their fast-paced and dynamic environments, face unique challenges in maintaining a stable workforce. This paper reviews existing literature on organizational culture and employee retention, analyzes case studies, and surveys employees within startups to assess the role of organizational culture in retention rates. The findings suggest that startups with strong, positive organizational cultures tend to experience higher levels of employee satisfaction and retention. However, the influence of culture is mediated by factors such as leadership style, work-life balance, and opportunities for growth. Recommendations are made for startup leaders to build a culture that aligns with employee values to enhance retention.
